There are a number of beliefs in the theories currently who invalidated the people still believe be true.

"There is no time to lose as everything important about the brain is decided by the age of three"
Was believed that the critical age where children could develop their learning that almost everything is decided at that age, this was based on the high growth of neurons in the early stages of life due to the finding that neurons do not regenerated, but now is known that a person can have new neurons at any point in their live to what is called neurogenesis, also the child has a greater synaptogenesis, a greater number of synapses making more capable of learning because the number of synapses determines learning. All this is not really supported by the lack of studies linking the synaptic density and learning so that you can not say with such determination that children up to three years have their pick of development.

Both hemispheres are entities that do not work separate, but has related the characteristics of people as being more intellectual or creative hemisphere that more would use, this is because is described separate. In fact recommended differentiated education for the type of person depending on the dominant hemisphere. Now know that is an integrated system of both hemispheres are required for tasks although some tasks are more strong related to one of the hemisphere.

It is important always worry about education,reinforce in the early stages of life because children learning easier, but always do things for education :)
